Crazy for Crust started in 2010 on a whim. Without even knowing what a blog was, or how to write recipes or take photos, or even that I could make money doing it, I decided to share my love of pie crust with the world by hitting publish on my first post. Within a few months I realized that I loved all sorts of desserts, so my site became a blog full of decadent and sweet recipes. Then, in 2017, I realized that if Crazy for Crust is going to be about my love of food, then I have to include all of the foods that I like. That’s when the blog became what it is today.

Some of my fondest memories are baking (and eating) desserts with my family, which is why I believe that food and life are so intertwined. I think everything we experience can be told through the story of food, which is why my recipes are always served with a slice of life.

When I’m not in the kitchen or on my computer, you’ll find me binge-watching something, reading a book, or scrolling on my iPhone...and often doing all three at the same time
